FAQ
Questions we're often asked
How long does it take to get certified?
For most organizations, phases 1–5 take around 9 to 11 weeks. The certification audit is then scheduled with the certification body, and the certificate is issued once any nonconformities are closed.
Can we certify to just one standard?
Yes. You can start with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 alone. Because all three share the same structure, adding the others later — or doing them together now — is efficient.
Do you issue the ISO certificate?
No. Certificates are issued by an independent certification body. USC prepares your system and supports you throughout the Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits, including closure of any nonconformities.
What do you need from our team?
A nominated Management Representative to coordinate access and review documents, and top management commitment to the QHSE policy, objectives and resources. We handle the heavy lifting.
What if the auditor raises nonconformities?
Post-audit support is part of every engagement. We help you analyse root causes, implement corrective actions and submit evidence until the nonconformities are closed and the certificate is issued.
How is the fee calculated?
Fees depend on the standards in scope, the number of sites and the extent of documentation, training and audit support. After a short discussion we send a fixed quotation valid for 30 days.
